OverviewBenenden School is looking for a qualified Nurse to join our thriving Medical Centre team.You will provide nursing cover in the Medical Centre, working a 12-hour shift pattern covering day, evening, overnight and some weekends. The position is for 108 hours over 3 weeks, with additional duty hours available. Flexibility is an essential requirement of this role, as you will be required to work up to three shifts at the beginning and end of each new term. ResponsibilitiesProvide nursing care and cover in the Medical Centre as part of a team.Promote and safeguard the welfare of children with whom you come into contact, ensuring compliance with the School\'s Child Protection Policy Statement at all times.Assist in maintaining safe and effective health care provision for students and staff. Qualifications and RequirementsYou will be a qualified Registered Nurse with excellent nursing skills.Empathetic to teenage needs with good administrative and IT skills.Enthusiastic team member. Some A&E, school nurse or practice nurse experience is beneficial, but not essential.Flexibility to work day, evening, overnight shifts and weekend duties as required.
