An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Academic Support Administrator to support and enhance the academic life of Benenden School, one of the country’s leading independent schools. This role will provide essential administrative support to enable the smooth running of the Academic Support Department and the post holder will work closely with the SENCo/Head of Academic Support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide essential administrative support to enable the smooth running of the Academic Support Department.
  • Work closely with the SENCo/Head of Academic Support to coordinate academic support activities.

Qualifications

  • High level IT competency, including the ability to work confidently with Excel.
  • Excellent communications, organisational and administrative skills.
  • While experience of working in a school is desirable, it is not essential.

Details

  • Hours: 09:00am-14:30pm Monday to Friday, with flexibility across the week.
  • Salary: Based on 1 FTE £31K pro rata for this part-time, term-time role.

Additional information

The post-holder will be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children with whom they come into contact. They must ensure compliance with the School’s Child Protection Policy Statement at all times. This appointment will be subject to Disclosure and Barring Service checks.
