Benenden Hospital is looking for a skilled and adaptable Flexibank Pharmacist to support the Pharmacy Manager in delivering a safe, effective, and high-quality pharmacy service. This role is ideal for pharmacists seeking flexible working arrangements while maintaining strong clinical involvement in a hospital setting.
To actively support the Pharmacy Manager in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmacy services, while providing excellent pharmaceutical care to all patients treated at Benenden Hospital. As a Flexibank Pharmacist, you will:
- Take active steps to ensure an excellent standard of pharmaceutical care for all patients
- Act as Responsible Pharmacist and deputise for the Pharmacy Manager when required
- Support the development, review, and updating of pharmacy policies, guidelines, and SOPs
- Lead or contribute to audit programmes, data collection, and presentations as part of the Pharmacy department's continuous quality improvement agenda
- Supervise the clinical workload of the junior pharmacist and pharmacy technicians, as required
- Assist the Pharmacy Manager with elements of line management support for the junior pharmacist
