We are currently recruiting for a Clinical Skills Facilitator to join our nursing team. The successful candidate will facilitate and coordinate our Basic Life Support (BLS) and Immediate Life Support (ILS) programmes through the Resus Council, alongside other clinical skills and simulation training.
This role involves leading the development and training of clinical skills across the hospital workforce.
This is an excellent position for someone passionate about healthcare training, with the opportunity to design and deliver simulation training across the hospital.
This is a full-time role, mainly working Monday to Friday. However, occasional weekend and bank holiday work may be required according to hospital and training schedules.

About the role
- Facilitate and deliver annual clinical training plans across ILS, BLS, Venepuncture, manual handling, and IV and cannulation training.
- Establish key relationships with clinical teams, collaborating with SMEs to review content.
- Schedule and communicate training plans using our learning management system.
- Provide specialist clinical knowledge, ensuring legal compliance across staff and services.
- Work reactively with the OD team on emerging clinical training requirements.
Skills and experience required
- Allied Healthcare professional or Registered Nurse
- Advanced Life Support Practitioner
- Experience in a clinical training setting
- Willingness to undertake further training in clinical skills (manual handling)
- Level 3 in education & training or equivalent (PTTLS)
- Simulation experience
