We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Evening Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Benenden Hospital. This role is vital in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our patients, visitors and staff.
Purpose of the Role
The post holder will be responsible for implementing and maintaining high standards of housekeeping and customer service throughout the hospital. You will play an important part in supporting patient care by ensuring all areas of the hospital are clean, well-presented and hygienic, in line with hospital policies and procedures.

- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across designated areas of the hospital
- Deliver a courteous and professional service to patients, visitors and colleagues
- Follow hospital procedures, infection control guidelines and health and safety standards
- Work independently during evening shifts, while also contributing positively to the wider team
- Manage and prioritise tasks effectively to meet service requirements
Skills and experience required
- Previous housekeeping experience is desirable
- Proven ability to undertake multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of the organisation
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
- Demonstrated initiative and attention to detail
