We’re looking for a Communications & Marketing Executive to bring energy, creativity, and precision to our growing team. About the role:

  • You will be at the heart of our communications activity, responsible for delivering high‑quality written content that supports our integrated communications and engagement strategy.
  • From crafting compelling health stories to supporting campaigns that expand our reach, your work will directly contribute to increasing self‑funded patients, insurance referrals, and paid services.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Raise the profile of Benenden Hospital internally and externally through high‑quality written communications.
  • Create relevant and engaging content—including copy, video, and photography—for a variety of channels.
  • Develop and manage the social media content plan.
  • Support the PR & Communications Manager in growing awareness across local and national media, business leaders, and the medical community.
  • Build and support stakeholder identification and targeting activity.
  • Engage and influence members to consider self‑pay through compelling content, including for Be Healthy magazine.
  • Support internal engagement initiatives, including the self‑pay agenda.
  • Manage the Patient Ambassador Programme.
  • Respond to patient reviews on key platforms (e.g. Doctify, Google), escalating where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with marketing colleagues on the creation and production of marketing materials.
  • Analyse campaign performance and collate KPI data to inform future strategies.
  • Proofread and refine all creative copy to ensure exceptional quality and consistency.
  • Develop and maintain strong specialist product knowledge.
  • Support the marketing team with engagement events and stakeholder activities.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider Benenden Health marketing function.
  • Provide day‑to‑day administrative support within the department.

Skills and experience required:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • At least 1 years’ experience in PR or communications.
  • Strong, adaptable written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of marketing principles and techniques.
  • Experience with CMS platforms and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
