If so, Benenden Health has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Procurement Manager to join our Procurement & Legal team. Reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager, you will provide expert advice to senior stakeholders throughout the organisation. We are seeking someone with proven commercial acumen who can add genuine value, focusing on achieving the best outcomes for our business and members. Excellent negotiation skills, an understanding of third party risk, and a confident command of contracts are vital. You will be responsible for designing and managing proportionate, effective tender processes, and collaborating with stakeholders across the business to deliver commercially focused results. Offering an annual salary of £56,500, this is a hybrid role, with the expectation to work in our York Office at least 2 days per week.

Key Responsibilities And Requirements

  • Proven experience of leading complex, high value and high risk end to end procurement processes within a broad range of expenditure categories
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels and across different technical disciplines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to condense and communicate complex information
  • Excellent numeracy skills, with experience of managing benefits realisation and performance frameworks, forecasting & financial planning
  • The ability to apply departmental and corporate governance requirements
