Benenden Health has exciting opportunities within its Sales Team to recruit for a Broker Sales Manager. This position will source, develop and win new business by effectively managing relationships with intermediary partners, including Employee Benefits Consultants, Flexible Benefit Platforms, and Brokers on a national level.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an experienced Account and consultative Sales Manager with a proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with brokers and clients.
  • Develop and manage relationships with Employee Benefits Consultants and Brokers to promote the Benenden Health corporate proposition and maximise new corporate client dual selling opportunities.
  • Drive growth in the channel by providing brokers and their clients with exceptional support throughout the sales journey and ensure that the experience is positive.
  • Seamlessly manage the relationship between the broker and onboarding of the clients, building rapport and trust with all stakeholders.
  • Present and sell our health & wellbeing propositions to brokers and their clients, face to face and using virtual tools.
  • Initiate, develop and manage a sales strategy to maximise every opportunity and drive revenue from the broker channel.
  • Identify emerging market trends, competition, and any shifts in the market.
  • Deliver product training, sales tools, and market insights to brokers to ensure they can confidently promote Benenden Health.

With an annual salary of 57,500 + car allowance & Bonus, this role is home based. However, attendance at the York office on occasion will be required as well as a 2 week induction period. There will also be a requirement to attend trade shows around the UK on a few occasions through the year, requiring stays away from home.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Proven demonstrable experience of working in a broker, intermediary corporate field-based role.
  • A proven track record of sales and account management experience with third parties and corporate clients.
  • A committed self-starter who is target driven and motivated to excel.
  • Ability to work efficiently and on own initiative to prioritise own workload, recognising that the role demands high energy and adaptability.
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to work to strict deadlines and under pressure.
  • Outstanding relationship building and influencing skills with the ability to confidently build and manage relationships at all levels.
  • Must be comfortable and understand working in a regulated environment.
