We are entering an exciting new chapter as we continue to evolve our applications landscape, including the implementation of a major new platform across the organisation. We are looking for a Quality Engineering Manager to establish and lead a modern, risk-based quality engineering function that improves testing confidence, delivery speed and overall product quality.
This is a key leadership role within the IT Applications department, responsible for defining and embedding test strategy, standards and governance across internal teams and external suppliers. You will shape how we use automation, tooling and emerging AI capability to improve quality, coverage and efficiency across the software development lifecycle.
You will lead and develop our testing capability, working closely with delivery teams, business stakeholders and third-party suppliers to ensure testing is well planned, effectively controlled and focused on the areas of greatest risk and member impact.
Reporting to the Head of Applications.
