Implement and maintain the Record of Processing Activities. Lead day‑to‑day management and oversight of low and negligible data breaches, assessing breaches within 72 hours of notification. Assess data protection risks and controls in compliance with internal policies. Deliver the supplier due diligence process, assess outputs and raise issues as appropriate. Advise the business on Legitimate Interests Assessments and Data Protection Impact Assessments. Support the creation and delivery of business training and awareness. Provide regulatory advice and support to the business on data protection legislation and cyber‑security matters.
Qualifications: You will demonstrate strong knowledge of data protection law, including the DPA 2018 and UK GDPR. You will identify and assess risks, including those arising from a data breach. You will possess excellent accuracy, written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, stakeholder management and the ability to liaise with cross‑functional teams to deliver objectives.
Location: This role is based at Benenden Hospital, Cranbrook, Kent. The position is hybrid with a requirement for weekly attendance at the hospital.
