Benenden Health has exciting opportunities within its Governance and Assurance team for a Senior Compliance Manager. This role will provide second line assurance that the regulated businesses are complying with FCA/PRA obligations, with a specific focus on the Consumer Duty, and to drive conversions with first line that deliver good consumer outcomes and improve consumer experiences.
The postholder will:
- Carry out risk-based second line assurance activities, including:
- Delivery of the Compliance Monitoring Plan
- Feedback to the 1st line on the Consumer Duty Management Pack
- Compliance oversight and input to the annual Board Consumer Duty report
You will have skills and experience in:
- Compliance, preferably within the insurance sector
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build and develop relationships at all levels
- Investigation skills, with the tenacity to get to the root of any concerns
- Attention to detail with the ability to summarise monitoring and assessment findings in written reports
- Ability to analyse a range of data, complete root cause analysis and share findings with management
- Detailed understanding of FCA handbook
The Benenden Health office is based in York and whilst there will be an opportunity to work from home, this role is offered on a hybrid basis and there will be a requirement of weekly attendance at the office.
