Apprentice Registered Building Inspector

Perfect for individuals looking to establish a rewarding career in Building Control. You'll work alongside experienced Building Inspectors, gaining practical experience across plan assessments, site inspections and Building Regulations compliance while working towards recognised Building Control qualifications and Registered Building Inspector status.

Registered Building Inspector (Class 1 to Class 2D)

If you're already registered with the Building Safety Regulator and looking for broader technical exposure, this role offers the opportunity to work on more complex commercial developments and Higher-Risk Buildings. You'll be supported in developing your competencies, expanding your project portfolio and progressing towards higher classifications as your experience grows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting clients with Building Regulations compliance and technical guidance.
  • Reviewing plans, drawings and technical submissions.
  • Undertaking site inspections and recording findings.
  • Assisting with the management and delivery of Building Control projects.
  • Producing technical reports and project documentation.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, contractors, design teams and colleagues.
  • Maintaining accurate records in line with company quality procedures.
  • Participating in training, development and ongoing CPD activities.
