About the Role
Working alongside experienced professionals, you will develop the technical knowledge and practical skills required to become a Registered Building Inspector. You will gain exposure to a wide range of construction projects while learning how to interpret Building Regulations, assess compliance and support clients throughout the construction process.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with Building Regulations plan assessments
- Attend site inspections alongside qualified Registered Building Inspectors
- Develop knowledge of Building Regulations and Approved Documents
- Support the preparation of statutory documentation
- Record inspection findings and assist in producing reports
- Liaise with architects, contractors, developers and clients
- Participate in technical training and development programmes
- Develop knowledge of the Building Safety Act and RBI competency requirements
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation
- Support the delivery of a high-quality Building Control service
About You
We're seeking technically minded individuals who enjoy problem-solving, are keen to learn and are looking to develop a long-term career within the construction industry. To apply, you will need one of the following:
- A minimum of 3 A-Levels at Grade C or above (or equivalent, 80 UCAS points)
- A Level 3 NVQ qualification in Construction or a related discipline
- Demonstrable experience in a relevant field, such as: Construction, Building Services, Fire Safety Engineering, Armed Forces/Ex-Military, Other technical or compliance-based environments
