We're looking for a Project & Business Support Coordinator to join our Environmental & Technical Services (ETS) team.

This is a varied and rewarding role that combines project coordination, contract administration, business support, and stakeholder management to help ensure the successful delivery of environmental and technical projects across the UK.

What You'll Be Doing

As a key member of the team, you'll provide administrative and logistical support across a range of projects and business activities, helping our technical specialists deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Supporting contract administration and ensuring compliance with financial, quality, health, safety, security and environmental (QHSSE) procedures.
  • Assisting with the preparation and issuance of quotations and processing client instructions.
  • Maintaining accurate records and project information within Salesforce.
  • Raising purchase orders and processing goods receipts to support project delivery.
  • Managing supplier reviews and maintaining approved vendor records.
  • Coordinating travel arrangements, ordering equipment and supplies, and providing general administrative support.
  • Assisting with QHSSE activities, including drafting and managing Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS).
  • Maintaining project trackers, KPI reporting and supporting forecasting activities.
  • Preparing presentations, reports and project documentation.
  • Managing proposal and report templates to ensure consistency across the business.
  • Maintaining equipment logs and coordinating calibration schedules.
  • Supporting project management activities on multi-site contracts, including client liaison, resource coordination and budget management.
  • Coordinating onboarding activities and local induction plans for new starters.
  • Supporting monthly variable pay submissions and other business administration activities.

Collaborating with wider teams across the Industrial & Technical Services division as the role develops.

  • Accurate and timely KPI reporting.
  • An up-to-date and reliable sales pipeline.
  • Strong compliance with QHSSE procedures and governance requirements.
  • Effective support for project managers and technical teams.
  • Accurate maintenance of equipment records and project documentation.
  • Continuous improvements to processes and ways of working.

About You

We're looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and enjoys working with a variety of stakeholders.

You'll ideally have

  • At least 3 years' experience in an administrative, project support, contract coordination or business support role.
  • Experience working within an engineering, environmental, technical or professional services environment.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Understanding of quality management systems, procedures and governance processes.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
  • Experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce would be advantageous.
