Role Overview

The purpose of the Customer Success Executive role is to be the most senior regular point of contact for your portfolio of customers, ultimately facilitating a successful and long-term partnership with them. You will support customers with their Strategy and help identify areas where Benifex can support, ensure delivery of their desired outcomes and drive a positive customer experience.

**Please note this role will require travelling to customer sites across the UK. On average a Customer Success Executive will manage a portfolio of 25 customers across the UK. The expectation is that all customers will be met in-person once a year. The CSE has autonomy to choose when they meet customers and all expenses are paid, but please note travel to customers will be a part of the role.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for owning the relationship for a portfolio of customers ensuring the delivery of the desired customer outcome whilst providing an exceptional experience.
  • To develop robust customer relationships with key contacts and drive advocacy for Benifex.
  • Focus clearly on identifying any upsell opportunities and managing them through to completion.
  • Ensure contract renewals are managed in a positive, professional and timely manner and minimise churn & erosion wherever possible.
  • Engage with customers to understand and help plan their future strategy and identify areas that Benifex can support with.
  • Perform regular meetings with customers, both virtual and in person, to review performance, platform usage, Net Promoter Score (NPS), development items and advertise customer events.
  • To provide the customer with relevant and regular thought leadership in relation to our industry.
  • Champion customer feedback within Benifex – be the voice of the customer – to identify trends and support product development

What are we looking for?

Skills and experience:

  • Good understanding of Employee Benefits – able to advise customers on their options and how different employee benefits could apply to their needs.
  • Proven track record in a customer facing role, working with mid sized and/or enterprise businesses in account management, customer success or customer support.
  • Proven skills in customer success. Evidence of improving customer NPS, improving retention and growing revenue in accounts.

  • Communication Skills – Can communicate complex concepts effectively with diverse audiences, tailoring messages to their needs. Can actively listen and provide constructive feedback.
  • Customer Service – Can build rapport with customers and provide a personalized and proactive service. Can handle complex customer issues and escalate them when necessary.
  • Organisation Skills – Can plan and organize complex tasks. Can coordinate, prioritise and schedule multiple work tasks across a team.
  • Commercial Acumen – Analyses market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform business decisions. Can develop and execute business plans and strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets.
  • Relationship Building – Cultivates effective, long lasting relationships within and outside the organisation. Can network effectively, influence and persuade others.
  • Negotiation – Can identify key negotiation issues in complex scenarios and develop effective strategies. Can negotiate effectively to achieve favourable terms.
  • Strategic Thinking – Can understand an organization\’s goals and objectives. Can understand, follow and contribute to team strategies.
  • Sales Effectiveness – Can follow sales processes and procedures. Can learn product details, apply basic sales techniques and deliver sales presentations.
