About the Role: Lycetts Insurance Brokers, who are proudly part of Benefact Group, are looking for a Trainee Account Handler to join our Marlborough or Newmarket office. Join our team as a Trainee Account Handler and play a key role in supporting client relationships while helping the business grow. You’ll receive full training and hands-on experience to build the skills needed for a successful career in insurance. Our specialist team provides insurance solutions across bloodstock, equine, private client, farm and estate sectors, covering all equine disciplines and their associated property, liability and personal insurance needs.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Support clients by helping prepare renewal paperwork ahead of renewal dates.
- Assist with incoming new business enquiries, helping to put together submissions and quotations with guidance from the team.
- Help obtain and compare alternative quotes where appropriate, learning how to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
- Support the team with policy documentation, invoices, credit notes, and general administration to ensure a smooth client experience.
- Follow file management and compliance procedures, including FCA requirements, keeping records accurate and up to date.
- Build positive working relationships with insurance companies as you develop your industry knowledge.
What You’ll Need to Have:
- Good organisational ability.
- Experience in obtaining information from clients via telephone & e-mail.
- Confident communications skills – both written & oral.
- Good negotiating skills and the ability to build good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- Hybrid working available upon successful completion of probation.
