About The Role

Grout Insurance Brokers, who are proudly part of Benefact Group and Access Insurance, are looking for an Insurance Broker to join our Selsdon office. This role sits within a specialist business broking team supporting Almshouse charities and a wide range of not-for-profit clients, providing tailored insurance solutions and high-quality service across new and existing accounts. It involves managing renewals, supporting the placement of large and specialist risks such as heritage properties and social housing, and delivering proactive, relationship-led service in line with company ethics and compliance standards.

What you'll be doing

  • Serve as the main contact for clients and insurers, handling enquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Deliver ongoing servicing for an established client portfolio, including mid-term changes, renewals and general policy administration.
  • Manage the full renewal process, reviewing requirements, checking documentation, requesting terms and re-broking where needed to ensure suitable, competitive cover.
  • Obtain, assess and present insurance quotations, then issue accurate confirmation of cover and documentation once terms are accepted.
  • Maintain organised, up-to-date client records, support internal reporting needs, handle administrative tasks and collaborate effectively with colleagues across the business.
