About The Role

Cliverton, who are proudly part of Benefact Group, are looking for an Account Handler to join our Fakenham office.

This is an excellent opportunity for an insurance professional looking to build on their existing experience and develop their technical expertise within a specialist market.

Working closely with clients, insurers and colleagues, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional service, managing policies and claims, and supporting clients throughout the insurance lifecycle.

  • What you'll be doing
  • Deliver excellent service to clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met effectively and professionally.
  • Manage policies, renewals, new business and claims activity throughout the customer journey.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, insurers and loss adjusters.
  • Handle claims enquiries and support clients through the claims process.
  • Build your knowledge of the insurance market and stay informed of factors that may impact clients.
  • Support delegated authority processes, including working with bordereaux (BDX) where required.
  • Prioritise and manage a varied workload across multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Take ownership of your professional development and continue to expand your insurance expertise.
  • What you'll need to have
  • Previous insurance experience, ideally gained within an Account Handling or Assistant Account Handling role.
  • A good understanding of insurance products, policy administration and customer service principles.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and insurer partners.
  • Confidence working independently while knowing when to seek guidance and support.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A proactive approach to learning and professional development.
  • What makes you stand out
  • Cert CII, Cert FS or an equivalent professional qualification, or a willingness to continue progressing towards professional qualifications.
