About the role

Benefact Group are looking for a Business Intelligence Manager to join our Gloucester office. As Business Intelligence Manager, you will be responsible for defining, producing and assuring high‑quality data, metrics and insights across our technology services and systems. Reporting to the Head of Service Experience, the role plays a key part in enabling evidence‑based decision making, improving service performance, and linking technology outcomes to customer and business experience. You will act as the authoritative voice on performance data and insight, ensuring a single, trusted view of system, service and operational performance across the Group.

What you'll be doing

  • Own and standardise performance metrics, KPIs, data definitions and reporting frameworks across the organisation.
  • Build, enhance and automate dashboards, scorecards and management reporting for all leadership levels.
  • Analyse trends, risks and performance drivers, turning data into clear, actionable insight.
  • Maintain a trusted single source of truth with strong data quality, integrity and governance.
  • Partner with operational and business teams to understand information needs and deliver effective intelligence solutions.

What you'll need to have

  • Proven experience in a Business Intelligence, Analytics or Performance Reporting role.
  • Strong experience defining and managing KPIs, metrics and performance frameworks.
  • Demonstrable experience designing dashboards and management reporting using BI or ITSM tools (JSM, ServiceNow in particular).
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, root causes and improvement opportunities.
  • Experience working with multiple data sources and operational systems to produce integrated insights.
  • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders up to senior leadership level without line management responsibility.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear, compelling insight.

  • Experience working within Technology, Service Management or Operational environments.
  • Understanding of service performance, availability, incident or customer experience metrics.
  • Experience working with tools such as Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, and Atlassian (Jira) in a reporting or analytics context.
