About the role

Benefact Group are looking for a Controls Administrator to join our Gloucester office on a fixed-term basis until 31/03/2027. As a Controls Administrator, you will provide administrative project support for our Group Controls project, maintaining accurate records relating to the controls and collation of associated controls information from around the Group. This project is also supporting enhancements to the overall maturity and effectiveness of the Group’s control environment, with a key focus on the Insurance Division and the controls that are material at a Group‑wide level.

What you'll be doing

  • Support the documentation and maintenance of Material and Key Controls, including tracking and recording testing progress and outcomes of control testing from across the group
  • Maintain accurate, audit‑ready control records and produce data and reporting for project teams and senior management
  • Help align project control expectations with Risk Registers and the annual Risk Controls Self-Assessment process, while managing the Group Risk calendar and key delivery dates
  • Contribute to project working group activity by preparing required data and providing updates on assigned tasks
  • Remain flexible to support wider project needs, including possible basic second‑line control testing and dealing directly with the wider business

What you'll need to have

  • Experience in recording and managing data received from business stakeholders
  • Experience in engaging with business stakeholders and ensuring requests are responded to
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good experience in the development of tools using M365 applications especially Excel or SharePoint data
