As Business Performance Accountant you\’ll work inpartnership with the business, providing accountancy services to enable the delivery of our strategic and tactical objectives.

What you\’ll be doing

  • Deliver Strategic Financial Insights: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support data-driven decision-making and long-term business planning.
  • Lead Financial Reporting and Forecasting: Oversee the preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts, budgets, and rolling forecasts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Drive Performance: Identify key financial trends, investigate variances, and provide actionable recommendations to improve business performance.
  • Commercial Business Partnering: Act as a strategic finance partner to the Commercial Directoroffering financial guidance and challenge to drive growth and profitability.
  • Support Regulatory and Statutory Compliance: Collaborate with reporting teams to source, analyse, and prepare financial data for statutory accounts and regulatory submissions.

What you\’ll need to have

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Experience with the production of monthly financial reports, regular and ad hoc financial analysis
  • A skilled communicator capable of interpreting and explaining complex information to stakeholders
  • Proactive approach, with the ability to meet demanding deadlines, handle competing priorities and adapt to the needs of the business
  • Experienced and disciplined user of Microsoft Excel, with ability to manage large datasets
