We’re looking for a Senior Clinical Nurse Advisor to join a dynamic Medical Assistance team a role that allows you to apply your clinical expertise in a fast-paced, professional environment while enjoying a more structured, balanced lifestyle. You’ll play a vital part in helping patients across the globe navigate complex medical situations, offering reassurance, clinical advice, and coordination when it matters most. It’s an opportunity to continue making a real difference without the pressures of night shifts or ward-based work. The position also offers the chance to take part in flight nursing assignments, supporting repatriations and global medical operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage and coordinate new and ongoing medical cases, including emergency medical assistance, repatriations, and complex claims.
- Provide non-diagnostic medical advice directly to patients and clients, supporting them with clarity and empathy during stressful situations abroad.
- Deliver clinical input for pre-deployment medical assessments, ensuring individuals are fit and prepared for overseas travel.
- Act as a point of clinical escalation, supporting coordinators, clients, and overseas medical professionals with expert nursing guidance.
- Contribute to airline employee health services, ensuring high standards of occupational health support.
- Maintain and check medical equipment following repatriations, ensuring full readiness for future missions.
You’ll collaborate daily with doctors, medical coordinators, and international teams delivering exceptional medical support and ensuring the best outcomes for patients.
About You
You’re an accomplished nurse who thrives on responsibility and variety. You’re confident making clinical decisions, communicating effectively, and supporting others under pressure.
- Registered General Nurse (current NMC registration)
- Minimum of 4 years’ recent acute care experience (ICU, A&E, HDU, CCU, or acute surgical nursing)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong IT literacy (Microsoft Office and database systems)
- Calm, decisive, and empathetic under pressure
- Previous work in clinical case management or telephone-based clinical roles
- Experience in travel health, military nursing, public health, cruise ship, or humanitarian/NGO settings
- Fluency in another language
