Waltons Jewellers & Goldsmiths are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our busy team. Preferably, with some experience. Further training will be given. This is an excellent opportunity to expand existing knowledge and experience in every aspect of the jewellery trade, so we are looking for someone keen to learn and self-motivated.
This person will be responsible for the administration of the company’s customer jewellery repairs and manufacturing workload, including accurate receipt logging of items, preparing estimates and assisting with managing workshop workflows to ensure all work is completed on time and to a high standard.
Responsibilities Include- Manufacturing & repairing jewellery in all metals
- General workshop & shop duties
- Serving & offering support and guidance to customers
- Dealing with telephone calls and enquiries
- A good level of IT literacy
- A keen interest in the jewellery and/or precious metals trade
- Strong communication & customer service skills
- Professional telephone manner
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and use initiative
