We are looking for a bright, motivated and highly organised Production & Studio Assistant to work directly with Bella during an exciting period of growth for the business.

As part of a small and intimate team, you will play an instrumental role in the day-to-day running of the studio and showroom, helping to manage our bespoke commissions from initial consultation through to final delivery.

We are looking for someone who is friendly, kind, adaptable, conscientious and exceptionally detail-oriented, with the confidence to take ownership of their workload and work closely with our clients, craftspeople and suppliers.

The Role

  • Planning and managing the production schedule, working closely with Bella to ensure the smooth running of each bespoke commission from initial consultation through to completion.
  • Liaising with our workshops and craftspeople in Hatton Garden, including managing timelines, troubleshooting production issues and ensuring pieces are completed to the required standard.
  • Estimating costs and managing quotes, budgets and timescales with workshops, suppliers and clients.
  • Client liaison throughout the bespoke journey, from initial enquiries and consultations through to final delivery.
  • Sourcing and purchasing diamonds and gemstones alongside Bella, working with our network of trusted suppliers.
  • Running production errands and attending workshop and supplier appointments in Hatton Garden.
  • Supporting the day-to-day running of our studio and showroom at 77 Broadway Market.
  • Welcoming walk-in enquiries and confidently communicating with clients about the collections and bespoke process.
  • Assisting with social media and content creation.
  • Supporting Bella with wider studio and brand projects as the business continues to grow.

Skills & Experience

  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • A proactive, flexible and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently and anticipate what needs to be done.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Confidence communicating and negotiating with clients, suppliers and workshops.
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and keep production moving against tight deadlines.
  • A warm, personable manner and confidence dealing directly with clients in a luxury retail environment.
  • Strong knowledge of diamonds and gemstones; a gemmology qualification would be a significant advantage.
  • Jewellery production experience and an understanding of the fine jewellery manufacturing process would be highly desirable.
  • Design skills, including CAD, Illustrator and/or gouache rendering, would be an advantage.
  • This would particularly suit someone who is excited by the opportunity to become an integral part of a small independent jewellery business, and who enjoys a role that combines production, client relationships, and the practical day-to-day life of a working studio.
