Prestons are recruiting an experienced Production Coordinator at our central London workshop, Ely Place.

About the Job

As Production Coordinator you will be responsible for all administrative duties to support our entire workshop operation. The successful candidate will ensure that each department functions efficiently and as one unit to ensure a smooth production flow and offer the best results and client experience possible. The Production Coordinator role will include assisting and support of the entire production journey, for repairs, collections and bespoke commissions. This role includes the support of our Design and Technical Teams, including Mounters and Setters, as well as regular communication with our Head Office, Sales and After Sales Team.

The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent attention to detail, a strong understanding of digital communication and technical systems, an innovative and agile nature, be highly experienced in production coordination, showcase a strong administration background and be passionate about driving efficiency and fine jewellery manufacturing. It is preferred that the candidate has similar experience managing a busy multi department workshop or business, supporting in all aspects of production and operations. Although fine jewellery experience would be beneficial it is not essential.

  • Quote & Invoice creation and monitoring
  • Ordering & Management of consumables/stationary onsite
  • Stock management
  • Monitor and report on performance against production plans and due dates
  • Communicate updates on all jobs with the wider team
