We have an opportunity for a full time Workshop Assistant to join our friendly and hardworking team. The role offers a varied workload which requires a variety of skills such as polishing, plating, lasering and jewellery manufacturing, so experience in at least one of these is required. There will be opportunities to develop practical skills in a busy professional jewellery and Silversmithing workshop and further training will be given to the right candidate.

Duties and responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing items for precious metal and selective plating
  • Polishing Jewellery and Silverware
  • Cleaning up castings, resizing and manufacturing jewellery
  • Repairs - Jewellery and Silverware
  • Laser welding
  • Quality control of Jewellery and Silverware
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers
