We have an opportunity for a full time Workshop Assistant to join our friendly and hardworking team. The role offers a varied workload which requires a variety of skills such as polishing, plating, lasering and jewellery manufacturing, so experience in at least one of these is required. There will be opportunities to develop practical skills in a busy professional jewellery and Silversmithing workshop and further training will be given to the right candidate.
Duties and responsibilities will include:- Preparing items for precious metal and selective plating
- Polishing Jewellery and Silverware
- Cleaning up castings, resizing and manufacturing jewellery
- Repairs - Jewellery and Silverware
- Laser welding
- Quality control of Jewellery and Silverware
- Liaising with customers and suppliers
- Enthusiastic, hardworking and organised team player
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage and prioritise workload
- A great communicator who enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills

We carry out a range of services such as Polishing, Plating, Jewellery design, Silversmithing, Repairs, Lasering and Manufacturing, in our workshop at the Goldsmiths’ Centre, Farringdon.
