Since 2009, Mathew Carroll has grown Obsessions into a well-respected and trusted name in the local community, offering a wide range of bespoke and repair services — from silverware to high-end platinum and diamond jewellery.

We’re Hiring: Jeweller (Flexible Options Available)

We’re currently looking for a talented Jeweller to join our growing team and help us manage an increasing workload. Whether you\'re just starting out or already a skilled professional, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a friendly, supportive team in a relaxed but professional environment. Our workshop survived a recession and a pandemic, and we\'re now excited to take the next step with the right person on board.

What We’re Looking For

You might be a Junior / Apprentice, a fully-skilled bench jeweller, or a self-employed contractor - what matters most is the right attitude and a passion for the craft.

With an in-house workshop, designers, and goldsmiths, they specialise in transforming raw materials and well-loved or inherited jewellery into bespoke, high-quality creations that blend sentiment with style. Ethical sourcing, expert stone restoration, and sustainable practices — such as reusing clients’ own gold — are at the heart of their service. Led by Master Goldsmith Mathew Carroll, whose training and experience span from New Zealand to London’s elite ateliers, the business brings a passion for craftsmanship, coloured gemstones, and exceptional detail to every piece they create or repair.
