We are building a dedicated CAD team within DBC Birmingham, providing high-quality, production-ready CAD as a service to DBC clients and the wider trade. This function will support both internal production and external partners, forming a key part of our overall offering.
We are looking for an experienced Head of CAD to take ownership of CAD at DBC Birmingham and build the department from the ground up. This is a senior, hands-on CAD role requiring strong design ability and experience delivering high-quality, production-ready CAD. You will be responsible for building and leading the CAD function, establishing systems, standards and workflows that support efficient and consistent output.
You will work closely with our London-based teams, supporting live projects while building and leading the CAD department at DBC Birmingham, supporting TLAW and its existing client base. You will also play a central role in recruiting, developing and managing a CAD team as the business grows.

- Strong communication skills across teams and locations
- Experience building or leading a CAD team
- Background in a workshop or production environment
- Experience working closely with casting or production teams

You will play a key role in shaping how CAD is delivered across both Birmingham and London, contributing directly to the quality and efficiency of CAD output across the business. The role offers a high level of autonomy and responsibility, with the opportunity to influence team structure, workflows and long-term development.
