F Hinds have an exciting position available within our own in-house Jewellery workshop. The successful candidate would be joining a family friendly working environment, where several other goldsmiths have worked happily for over 20+ years.

The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, problem solving ability, time management as well as the ability to work under pressure. The workshop carries out a wide range of repairs and alterations supporting our 125+ stores but also acknowledges and supports staff with several benefits.

Job Role

You would work within our workshop offering a wide range of repairs on a day-to-day basis. We would require you to work as part of a team and on an individual basis. The ideal candidate must be able to competently carry out the following services:

  • Basic re-joins.
  • Ring sizing.
  • Re-tipping and claw work.
  • Polish and rhodium plating.
  • Setting work would be beneficial.
  • UK Bench experience.
  • Experience on Micro weld.
  • Experience on Laser desirable.
Hours

40hrs, Monday – Friday.

Salary

Salary will depend on experience and level of skills.

Interview

Interview if offered will be a bench test consisting of the use of Aquaflame soldering guns and simple ring repairs, bracelets and neck chains.
