Job Overview: We are delighted to be representing our client in their search for an experienced Digital Product Designer. Our client is a young company, located in Sheffield and London, who have really hit the ground running, and are growing steadily and organically. This Digital Product Designer role has become available due to growth within the organisation. This position will be based within the Sheffield office located in Sheffield city centre. Hybrid working is offered with one day per week as a minimum working from the office.
Company Background: Our client are specialists in supporting founders, start-up, and existing businesses with building Minimum Viable Products (MVPs). The business supports their clients in building an MVP product with a very quick turnaround of 2-3 weeks, meaning they are able to get off the ground quickly. Their products are lean, and simple to allow their clients to hit the ground running within a very short space of time. Our client is passionate in their work, and are keen to assist businesses in launching their MVP into market quicker, and more easily. This is the perfect role for individuals who are passionate about digital products, have experience of web applications as well as design. This will be a fast-paced project-based role, where the successful candidate will be running multiple projects at the same time.
Responsibilities:
- Working collaboratively with clients to scope out their MVP, really getting to know their business, their concept and what is to be expected from their product.
- Managing multiple MVP build projects, at different stages simultaneously.
- Helping design user journeys and user experience of each MVP build.
- Regularly communicating with clients about their project, and providing them with suggestions to ensure each build meets clientβs expectations and requirements.
- Collaborating with the wider team to ensure projects are delivered on time.
- Helping with the testing of in-development MVPs.
- Using Figma to create wireframes and designs for the Developers to use during each MVP build.
- As the team continues to grow, building design principles and guidelines to streamline all practices.
Requirements:
- Experience working as a Digital Product Designer.
- Experience of designing applications across a wide range of industries.
- Passionate and curious about working in digital.
- Technical experience would be advantageous.
- Working collaboratively across technical teams.
- Experienced using UX design.
- Confident managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Exceptional communication skills.
