Benchmark International is a global mergers and acquisitions (M&A) firm specialising in the sale, acquisition, and growth strategies of mid-market businesses. As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking a highly driven, front-line sales professional to support our growth across the North East of England and Scotland. This is a high-impact, consultative sales role offering exceptional earning potential and clear progression within a dynamic and rapidly growing international organisation.
The Role
As an Associate Director, you will work directly with business owners considering exit or growth strategies. You will utilise your commercial insight and consultative sales skills to guide clients through their options and secure engagements for Benchmark International’s services. You will meet prospective clients both face-to-face and virtually to understand their objectives and demonstrate how Benchmark can support them. Qualified leads and appointments are generated centrally by our experienced Deal Origination team, allowing you to focus on building relationships and closing engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Valuing and assessing the saleability of potential client businesses
- Explaining Benchmark International’s services and their benefits
- Presenting tailored exit and growth solutions
- Securing client engagements to represent the sale of their business
- Negotiating commercial terms and engagement fees
- Contracting clients and managing the sign-up process
- Preparing completed engagement packages, including financial information, for the Deal Transaction team.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a high-energy, ambitious sales professional with a consultative approach and a strong desire to succeed in a performance-driven environment. This role is particularly well suited to individuals with experience in:
- Estate agency or commercial property
- Financial services
