We\’re Benchmark Group, and we\’re looking for an experienced Mechanic / Vehicle Technician to join our team. If you take pride in doing things properly and want to work for a business that values skill and reliability over shortcuts, you\’ll fit right in.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys getting stuck in, solving problems, and keeping vehicles in top condition.
What you\’ll do:

Carry out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of vehicles

Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brakes, tyres, and MOT prep

Diagnose and fix faults using diagnostic equipment and your own experience

Repair or replace mechanical and electrical components where needed

Keep the workshop clean, safe, and well-organised

Maintain accurate service records and reports
What we\’re looking for:

Solid experience as a Mechanic, Vehicle Technician, or Garage Mechanic

Confident with diagnostics, fault finding, and repair work

Strong understanding of engines, brakes, electrics, and general mechanics

Good communication and time management skills

Reliable, with a strong attention to detail

Full UK driving licence preferred
