You will possess strong technical expertise across pensions, investments, retirement planning, protection and estate planning, enabling you to deliver holistic financial planning solutions that support positive client outcomes.

What you’ll do
As a Senior Financial Planner, you will:
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and professional introducers.
- Deliver holistic financial planning advice tailored to clients’ objectives and circumstances.
- Conduct annual and ongoing financial reviews, both virtually and face‑to‑face.
- Create and implement lifetime financial planning strategies.
- Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships and broaden planning discussions.
- Work collaboratively with paraplanners, administrators, compliance specialists and investment professionals.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of our client proposition and advice offering.
- Support positive client outcomes while adhering to regulatory and compliance requirements.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
- A minimum of three years’ experience as a Financial Planner within an independent or restricted financial advice business.
- Strong experience delivering holistic financial planning advice to clients.
- Excellent technical knowledge across pensions, retirement planning, investments, protection and estate planning.
- Experience developing and maintaining long‑term client relationships.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- High professional and ethical standards.
- Good understanding of FCA regulations and industry compliance requirements.
- Competent user of Microsoft 365, CRM systems and financial planning software.
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent).
Desirable
- Chartered Financial Planner status.
- Advisers actively working towards Chartered status will also be considered.
- Experience advising business owners, corporate clients, charities and professional introducers.
- Specialist knowledge in areas such as trusts, long‑term care or complex pension planning.
- Professional memberships such as STEP, SOLLA or Resolution.

This position supports clients across the Midlands region and is aligned to our Midlands office network.
