As a Chartered Financial Planner at Finura, you will continue to develop your career within a high‑quality, multi‑disciplinary practice. You will work with an established client bank, deliver holistic and compliant financial advice, and provide a consistently strong client experience from initial engagement through to ongoing advice and review. You will be responsible for building long‑term client relationships, delivering high‑quality financial planning, and contributing to the continued growth of the business.

What you'll do:

  • Deliver an excellent client experience from initial contact through to advice delivery.
  • Provide clear, engaging annual reviews to keep clients informed and aligned to their goals.
  • Achieve agreed business plans and grow your client portfolio in partnership with the Head of Financial Planning.
  • Develop and diversify your client base through a structured self-generation plan, networking, and building professional connections with Finura’s support.
  • Grow your business through advocacy, referrals, and internal handovers.
  • Provide acquisition clients with a seamless and empathetic experience.
  • Build both your personal brand and the Finura brand through marketing and media activity.
  • Contribute ideas, support colleagues, and promote a collaborative team environment.
  • Work closely with colleagues to maintain strong teamwork and client support.
  • Take ownership of your ongoing professional development.
  • Collaborate effectively with your Hub to deliver a consistent client experience.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need:

  • CII Chartered Financial Planner status (or equivalent) with a clear commitment to professional standards.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial services, with a track record in client advice and business growth.
  • Strong technical knowledge across core planning areas, including pensions, retirement, investments, protection, and estate or inheritance planning.
  • Good understanding of FCA requirements, with the ability to operate within suitability standards and deliver good client outcomes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to build trust, manage long‑term relationships, and communicate complex advice clearly.
  • High standard of written communication and attention to detail, producing clear, client‑friendly reports.
  • Confident using technology to support client delivery, including CRM and digital tools.
  • Well organised and self‑directed, able to manage priorities while working effectively within a wider team.

Desirable:

  • Evidence of consistent client acquisition through professional connections, networking, and referrals.
  • Additional technical specialisms, such as trusts or later life planning, or relevant professional memberships.
  • Experience supporting clients through key transitions, including acquisitions, business sale, retirement, or intergenerational planning.

You’ll be based in our City Office, London, working closely with the Financial Planning and Client Account Management teams to deliver an outstanding end‑to‑end client experience.
