The Council’s stock of highway assets are maintained to a standard of inspection that meets or exceeds the risk-based interval requirements for the Inspection of Highways. The Children’s Social Work service in Manchester has a key role in delivery of high-quality support to people who use services, and those who care for them, as well as families, communities and providers to ensure safe practice and protection from abuse. If you’re successful, you’ll join a team of Building Control professionals pushing forward a high standard of healthy, safe, sustainable, and accessible buildings within the city.

For this job we're looking for:

  • Ability to work as part of a team or individually

  • Ability to carry out cleaning functions and associated duties to specified standards
  • Ability to use building cleaning materials and equipment in a range of situations (training will be provided where necessary)
