Job Description
- Data Centre Manager - Data Centre Ops, £55k - 65k
- London
\n Bench IT requires an experienced Data Centre Manager, to manage the day-to-day running of a Data Centre environment.
The Data Centre Manager will lead and develop a team, ensure services are delivered against SLAs, and apply ITIL best practice across service and change management.
The role covers full project life cycle management, financial and operational reporting, and hands-on knowledge of Data Centre technologies and telecoms cabling infrastructure.
\n Key Responsibilities

- Leading, managing, and developing a team within a Data Centre environment
\n - Ensuring service delivery meets contractual and SLA requirements
\n - Managing projects through the full life cycle
\n - Applying ITIL processes for service measurement and change management
\n - Producing financial and operational reports, including trend analysis
\n - Supporting telecommunications infrastructure cabling and Data Centre technologies
\n - Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and industry partners
\n - Maintaining high standards of governance within a regulated environment
\n
\n Required Skills & Experience
\n \n - Demonstrable experience in staff leadership and people management
\n - Experience managing projects across the full life cycle
\n - Proven experience working within a Data Centre environment
\n - Strong Service Delivery Management experience
\n - Experience working in banking or other highly regulated environments
\n - Strong understanding of Data Centre technologies, terminology, and BAU support
\n - Strong knowledge of ITIL processes, service measurement, and change management
\n - Experience supporting office and/or data centre environments
\n - Experience producing financial and operational reports, including analysis
\n - Experience in delivering services to contractual requirements
\n - Strong people management, leadership, and team development capability
\n - Able to manage high workloads and work under pressure
\n - Extensive experience with telecommunications infrastructure cabling
\n - Good understanding of industry processes, tools, systems, and partners
\n - Confident user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and project tools
\n - Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
