Bench IT require an experienced Quant Developer to join a large organisation starting ASAP. The role will be working hybrid 3 days per week in Bristol and the remaining time spent remotely.

The Senior Quant Developer will work with our Qt framework software development client on a range of innovative Embedded HMI projects. As part of an international HMI-focused engineering team, you will contribute to the development of modern, visually advanced human-machine interfaces used in Embedded devices across multiple industries.

You would be involved in rewriting the UI in Qt Widgets based on a new GUI designed in Figma, making the application easier to debug. Knowledge of Git is needed for source control.

The successful Quant Developer should have the skills and experience included below.

Experience
  • Strong commercial experience developing cross-platform applications in Qt
  • Solid background in building modern Qt-based graphical user interfaces
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical solutions
  • Good understanding of software architecture and design patterns
  • Strong knowledge with version control systems, code reviews and integration tools
