Overview: This job is brought to you by Jobs/Redefined, the UK's leading over-50s age inclusive jobs board.
Our Mission: We're not your average benefits platform; we're the unordinary force that uplifts people's lives. Our technology is the link that connects the entire benefits ecosystem, creating better outcomes for employers, employees, brokers, and providers. Our mission is clear: we're here to create a world where everything operates at its very best, ensuring that every employee receives the support they need to live life to the fullest, both at work and beyond.
Your Mission: As a Product Manager at Ben, you will challenge the complexity in the employee benefit domain and constantly deliver value (benefit!) to our users by solving some of our most complex customer-facing problems! We're looking for self-starters who are seeking a fast-paced environment where they can make a difference. Our team is small, which means high autonomy, ownership, and responsibility. We love what we do, have fun and, while we ship on time, take life-work balance seriously.
Responsibilities:
- Own Product discovery within areas of the Ben business, working closely with the Head of Product and other senior stakeholders to understand some of our most complex and ambiguous problems.
- Collaborating with key business stakeholders to help drive the product strategy and roadmap.
- End-to-End ownership of your dedicated product area, from idea creation to discovery to development to go-live.
- Ensuring the voice of the customer is heard throughout the product development process, from speaking with our Customer Support, Sales, & Success teams, to interviewing customers.
- Leading product shaping and prioritisation by framing problems, defining scope and appetite, and collaborating closely with design and engineering to move the right bets forward.
- Working closely with Marketing, Customer Success & Support to ensure feature releases are successful, whilst measuring the impact the feature has post release.
- Help us solve complex business problems by breaking it down to smaller pieces, finding truth & insights by going straight to the source and developing highly user-friendly products.
- Several years of product experience in the B2B SaaS space, in a high-growth environment.
What you will love:
- A proven track record of delivering ambitious, complex products with full ownership that really hit the mark.
- You are a strategic thinker who combines commercial pragmatism and experience navigating senior stakeholders to deliver at pace.
- An entrepreneurial mindset - you are always looking for new product ideas to test and validate.
- Superb prioritisation and communication skills.
- Above all else, you LOVE problems (and solving them, of course!).
What you will not love:
- Aren't comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Are not ready to own your own results and be held accountable.
- If you like maintaining the status-quo and aren't willing to think outside the box.
- If you like a lot of structure and processes, we are a start-up and are still working things out and we don't always know what's next.
- Are not comfortable with ambiguity, we will give you guidance but sometimes you have to work things out.
- Wait for others to step up, or to be told what to do. We are a high-performance and high-reward workplace and are looking for people who are proactive.
Our Compensation & Benefits: It's important to us to practise what we preach when it comes to our benefits. We know what good looks like and we want to provide the best for our team, with a comprehensive and inclusive benefits package. We've built an offering that provides a selection of benefits across 5 key pillars: health & wellbeing, family, lifestyle, finance and social. This means you have a choice over the things that are most important to you.
- Competitive base salary + equity, so you own what you build.
- £100 monthly personal Ben Balance: for whatever works for you, whether that's Netflix, Spotify, or a really expensive cup of coffee! This allowance will increase by £50 for each year of service until you reach £250.
- Weekly lunch provided in office so you can spend quality time with the team over some tasty food!
- 28 days of holidays a year plus bank holidays. Also, your holiday entitlement will increase to 30 days at your 3rd year of service!
- Day off for your birthday.
- Work-from-anywhere scheme, allowing you to work from abroad.
- Enhanced parental leave and workplace nursery scheme to support with the cost of childcare in a nursery setting.
- Comprehensive Private Medical Insurance.
- Funded Life Assurance cover with the option to voluntarily increase - this also includes an annual health check.
- Comprehensive and tailored mental health support and professional coaching through a leading provider.
