We are currently seeking a self-motivated and proactive individual to join our expanding team. This role offers a valuable opportunity to serve as a client-facing representative of the Company, while upholding the reputation of a well-respected brand renowned for its quality and creativity.
Role Description
Applicants should have a strong background within bespoke furniture and a minimum of three years' proven experience working with FF&E within the commercial sector. You will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our clients, assisting in the successful completion of projects with a first-class level of service. The role involves confidently engaging with clients face-to-face to establish long term relationships, as well as offering administrative support to the team within the office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership for our high-value customer accounts, managing day-to-day communications and ensuring the establishment and maintenance of strong, long-lasting partnerships, whilst proactively identifying opportunities to add value.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for your accounts, collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders to support ongoing projects and encourage repeat business.
- Maintain a clear understanding of the client briefs, continuously building rapport and providing tailor made solutions to meet their individual needs.
- Develop account development strategies to facilitate further growth, whether through upselling new product ranges, introducing customised options, or enhancing service delivery.
- Demonstrate leadership and confidence in preparing, delivering and leading face-to-face client meetings.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams across design, production, planning, and logistics to ensure customer requirements are met comprehensively and within agreed timeframes.
- Monitor key performance indicators such as sales volume, lead times, delivery accuracy, and service levels, and address any issues promptly.
- Attend client meetings, site visits, trade shows, and industry events as necessary to maintain close contact and stay informed of market trends.
- Experience in managing client contracts to ensure comprehensive understanding of the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in place, with the aim of meeting expectations and minimising risk.
- Collaborate closely with the wider sales team to forecast customer demand, support planning cycles, and maintain visibility of the pipeline and potential growth opportunities.
Key Qualifications & Experience
- A minimum of three yearsβ experience in a similar role within the furniture / interiors sector.
- Proven experience in managing commercial projects.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to take ownership and lead meetings effectively.
- Outstanding organisational abilities, with a strong attention to detail in task completion and execution.
- Capability to work independently with a high level of initiative, whilst also demonstrating a collaborative team mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting CAD drawings would be advantageous but is not essential.
