Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of area plans and policies.
- Conduct research and analysis on land use, demographics, and environmental impacts.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders and decision‑makers.
- Collaborate with various departments and external agencies on planning initiatives.
- Engage with community members and organizations to gather input and feedback on planning projects.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented plans and recommend modifications as needed.
- Supervise and provide guidance to junior planning staff and interns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Geography, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in urban planning or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of planning principles, practices, and relevant laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, research, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in GIS and other planning software applications.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Proven experience in project management and team collaboration.
