We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (Grade 8) to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in assessing, planning, and delivering therapeutic interventions to individuals of varying ages who experience physical, mental, or developmental challenges. The Occupational Therapist will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, patients, and their families to develop personalized treatment plans that address specific needs and goals. Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote independence and improve daily functioning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and social workers to coordinate patient care.
- Provide training and support to patients and their families to assist with therapy goals and home programs.
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately and timely in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay current with advances in occupational therapy techniques and integrate evidence-based practices into patient care.
- Participate in community outreach programs and educational workshops to raise awareness about occupational therapy services.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current registration and licensure with the relevant occupational therapy professional body.
- Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in occupational therapy practice.
- Strong assessment and therapeutic intervention skills across a range of patient populations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration and patient education.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards.
