Nurse / RMN – Hospital Acute
Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse / RMN to join our Acute Hospital team. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to individuals with acute mental health conditions.
- Assess patients\’ needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols.
- Offer emotional support and counseling to patients and their families during challenging times.
- Document patient care activities accurately in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the quality of care and promote positive patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with a current NMC registration.
- Proven experience working in an acute hospital or mental health setting.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.
