Overview
Multi Skilled Tradesperson β Flooring Bias (L3Z2). We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Multi Skilled Tradesperson with a flooring bias to join our dynamic team. This role is paramount in delivering exceptional quality flooring installation and maintenance services across various projects. As a Multi Skilled Tradesperson, you will leverage your extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in flooring materials and techniques to ensure that each job meets our high standards and customer satisfaction. You will be involved in both residential and commercial projects, providing comprehensive flooring solutions that include assessment, preparation, installation, and finishing. The ideal candidate will also contribute to the overall upkeep of our facilities and assist with additional trades as needed, enhancing overall site productivity. Effective communication skills are essential as you will interact with clients and team members, ensuring that project timelines and expectations are met. A proactive approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team will be crucial in this position. Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments of flooring requirements for various projects.
- Prepare and install a variety of flooring types, including carpet, laminate, tile, and hardwood.
- Repair and replace damaged flooring to maintain safety and quality standards.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations and health and safety standards.
- Meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Interact with clients to understand their flooring needs and provide recommendations.
- Assist other trades as necessary to support overall site operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in flooring installation and maintenance with a strong portfolio.
- Level 3 NVQ in a relevant trade or equivalent qualification.
- Comprehensive knowledge of different flooring materials and installation methods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Effective communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
- Valid driverβs license and willingness to travel to various job sites.
