Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with meal preparation and nutritional needs
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor overall health
- Create a warm and inviting environment for clients
- Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities
- Assist with mobility and physical rehabilitation exercises
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean living space
Requirements
- Must have a valid HCA certification or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience in a care or support worker role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate, patient, and caring nature
- Flexibility in work hours and adaptability to different situations
- Reliable transportation to the job location and willingness to travel if needed
