Environmental Health Officer (Private Sector Housing Reactive) WCR 3. Description: We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Environmental Health Officer (Private Sector Housing Reactive) to join our team at WCR 3, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety standards of private sector housing within our jurisdiction. Responsibilities

- Advise landlords and tenants on their rights and responsibilities in relation to housing standards

- Maintain accurate records and databases related to inspections, complaints, and actions taken
Requirements
- A degree in Environmental Health or a related field
- Registration with the relevant professional body (e.g., Environmental Health Registration Board)
- Proven experience in environmental health, specifically in private sector housing
- Strong understanding of housing legislation, health and safety regulations, and environmental standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse groups
- Ability to analyze complex situations and develop practical solutions to problems
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively
