We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Environmental Health Officer specializing in Food and Health & Safety to join our dynamic team at WCR 3. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring public health standards are maintained across multiple facilities and food establishments. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of food establishments and public health facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

- Investigate reports of foodborne illnesses and public health complaints, identifying sources and recommending actions.
- Provide education and training to food business operators on best practices in food hygiene and safety.
- Collaborate with local authorities and enforcement agencies to promote public health standards.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation of inspections, incidents, and investigations for record-keeping and follow-up.
- Stay up-to-date with national and local health regulations, ensuring the organization remains compliant with all applicable laws and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor\\\βs degree in Environmental Health, Public Health, or a related field.
- Certification as an Environmental Health Officer or equivalent is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and health standards.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to assess compliance and implement solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in the use of technology and software related to health inspections and data management.
