The CSW β Team Manager β CYPDS (Gr 9) role is a pivotal position within our organization, responsible for leading and managing the Children and Young People\βs Disability Service (CYPDS). This position demands a compassionate and committed individual who excels in team management and service delivery. You will oversee the development and implementation of strategies designed to meet the needs of children and young people with disabilities, ensuring that they receive the highest standard of care and support. As a Team Manager, your role extends to fostering an inclusive and empowering environment for both your team and the service users. This includes collaborating with various stakeholders, including families, social workers, health professionals, and educators. You will also be tasked with the continuous improvement of service delivery, ensuring that best practices and methodologies are consistently applied. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of professionals providing support to children and young people with disabilities.
- Develop, implement, and monitor service plans to ensure high-quality support services.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including families, to identify and meet the needs of service users.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures while promoting best practices.
- Facilitate professional development and training for team members to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Manage budgets, resources, and performance indicators to achieve organizational goals.
- Conduct regular supervision and performance appraisals, fostering a culture of feedback and improvement.
Requirements
- A relevant social work qualification and registration with a governing body.
- Significant experience in managing a team within childrenβs services or related fields.
- In-depth knowledge of the challenges and best practices in disability services for children and young people.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with families and other professionals.
- Ability to analyze complex situations and implement effective solutions.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with sector changes.

End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: Β£32.71
