Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule housing repair and maintenance works according to established priorities.
  • Manage incoming requests for repairs and maintenance, ensuring all work orders are processed efficiently.
  • Communicate with residents regarding scheduled repairs, including any changes to timetables or delays.
  • Liaise with contractors to ensure timely completion of work, maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Monitor the progress of ongoing repairs and maintenance works, providing updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Analyze workload and resource availability to optimize scheduling and minimize downtime.
  • Prepare reports on repair performance and identify areas for improvement in service delivery.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in scheduling, planning, or a related field within housing or facilities management.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with residents and contractors.
  • Proficient in using scheduling software and tools to effectively coordinate maintenance activities.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate reports to support decision-making processes.
  • Knowledge of housing repair processes and relevant legislation would be an advantage.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and demands.
