Overview
The Centre Assistant (SC3) is a vital role that supports the smooth and efficient operation of our center, contributing to overall customer satisfaction and service delivery. In this position, you will be responsible for providing essential administrative and operational support to ensure that the centre runs effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing them to interact positively with diverse clientele while maintaining a welcoming environment. Your responsibilities will include assisting visitors, maintaining records, managing inquiries, and providing logistical support for events and activities within the center. You will also play an important role in handling and resolving queries promptly, which may involve liaising with staff members from various departments to ensure that clients\’ needs are met. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring the performance of the center\’s facilities and reporting any maintenance issues. The Centre Assistant will work closely with the management team to implement administrative procedures and ensure compliance with organizational policies. Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage phone calls and email inquiries, providing timely and accurate information.
- Maintain accurate records and files related to center operations.
- Coordinate logistics for events and activities within the center.
- Monitor and report any maintenance or facility issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist in the development and implementation of administrative procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance service quality and efficiency.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in administration or customer service is a plus.
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in an administrative capacity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with office software.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing issues.
Hours Per Week: 20.00
Start Time: 08:30
End Time: 14:30
Pay Per Hour: £13.85
