We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ASW – Social Worker (2+ years post qualification experience) to join our Assessment and Safeguarding team. In this pivotal role, you will work collaboratively to assess the needs of vulnerable individuals and families, ensuring their safety and well-being. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective care plans that address specific challenges faced by clients, drawing on your expertise to advocate for their needs within the community and with partner organizations. Your experience in social work will be crucial in identifying risk factors and safeguarding concerns, allowing you to intervene appropriately to protect clients from harm. This position entails working closely with children, adults, and families, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As an ASW, you will provide support and guidance, helping individuals to navigate complex systems, and you will play an integral role in connecting them with

Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals and families in need of support.
Develop and implement tailored care plans to address the specific needs of clients.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to facilitate effective care.
Monitor and evaluate progress of clients, adjusting care plans as necessary.
Provide emotional support and guidance to clients and their families during difficult times.
Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures to promote client safety.
Document all interactions and maintain accurate records in accordance with legal and organizational standards.
ASW – Social Worker ( 2+ years post qualification experience) – Assessment & Safeguarding, A recognized social work qualification and valid social work registration.
A minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in a relevant social work setting.
Strong knowledge of assessment frameworks and safeguarding legislation.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proven experience in case management and developing intervention plans.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess risk and make informed decisions.
